Since sunday, the Fashion Week Haute-Couture replaced the Men Fashion Week. This one is done for a smaller audience, and it is a shame because some creations deserve to be shown to everyone as they approach, by their beauty and the work they needed, the museum pieces.

Thereby, John Galliano for the Spring/Summer 2010 Haute-Couture collection for Dior, went, himself, in a museum to find his inspiration. He found it in the Charles James's work (who have already inspired the New Look to Monsieur Dior).

Regarding to Karl Lagerfeld, according to his words, it was like "an electronic flash in my head at five o'clock one morning. Silver and pastel". Some would have been qualified the show of "futurist", absolutely not. If you say that to Karl, he will answer to you "fashion is now!"
"small parenthesis: I like a lot this show, the search, the work on the tissue but would Baptiste dressed with aluminum foil or a survival blanket? Sorry for the joke but next to Abbey Lew Kershaw, dressed with the wedding dress, tradition which closes the Couture shows, he denotes a lot!"

I'm just going to detail those two shows because there were the one which caught the minds this last two days. Besides, this houses are the most emblematic of the fashion world, in the ready-to-wear and the Couture. This houses made and are still making Paris, the Fashion capital!
