Galliano

Au fil des saisons, le défilé Galliano s'est imposé comme the place to be durant la Fashion Week, que ce soit pour chez les femmes comme chez les hommes. Cette saison, Monsieur John Galliano n'a évidemment pas dérogé à la règle.
Après un long moment d'attente, le défilé s'est ouvert sur une horloge sortant du sol, puis le mannequin Scott Barnhill s'est avancé, vêtu et maquillé comme Charlie Chaplin. Le show étant lancé avec comme premier thème Charlie Chaplin ce qui était à prévoir d'après l'invitation "I love Charlie". L'été prochain, messieurs, vous porterez un sarouel.
Season after season, Galliano has been the place to be during the Fashion Week, men or women. This season, Mister John Galliano presented a show which was obviously no exception to the rule.
After a long time waiting, the show began with a clock coming from the floor, then, the model Scott Barnhill walked, dressed and with a make-up like Charlie Chaplin. The show was launched with the first theme: Charlie Chaplin. It was to expect because of the invitation "I love Charlie". The next summer, mister, you'll have to wear an harem pants.

Le deuxième tableau portait sur Buster Keaton et son célèbre canotier. Le beige, l'ivoire et le kaki dominent.
The second part was about Buster Keaton and his famous boater. The beige, ivory and khaki were the main colors.

Bien sûr, on retrouve aussi, comme d'habitude, le défilé de caleçons Galliano, toujours présentés par des mannequins tout en muscles et surtout magnifiquement maquillés par le staff de Pat McGrath afin de faire ressortir leurs belles tablettes de chocolat.
Of course, we saw, as always, the part of the boys wearing Galliano underwear, always shown by muscular models and especially, beautifully disguised by Pat McGrath's staff to highlight their beautiful abs.

Enfin, le dernier tableau nous présente Matt Damon selon Galliano, vêtu de pantalons extra-larges et de vestes étriquées, avec sur la tête, un berêt. La tendance lingerie a même fait son apparition chez les Hommes avec des vestes en dentelle.
Le défilé se termine sur l'habituel parade de John, toujours merveilleusement mise en scène. Il portait cette fois les tresses du défilé Dior femme.
After all, the last part showed a Matt Damon by Galliano, wearing huge pants and skimpy jackets with a beret on the head. The lingerie trend, also, made an apparition at the Men show with some lace jackets.
The défilé ended with the usual parade of John, always wonderfully staged. He was wearing the braid of the Dior Women show.

Après le défilé, en backstage, les mannequins avaient bien du mal à enlever leur maquillage.
After the show, backstage, the models had trouble removing their make-up.

D'ailleurs, certains avaient fini par abandonner pour aller prendre des photos avec John qui s'y prêta volontiers. On a même réussi à avoir notre photo finalement.

Beside, some gave up to take some pictures with John who willingly lent himself. We even managed to take a picture with him.
